Best Festivals š„³
Over the years London has become increasingly known for itās many regular festivals. Here are five to keep you celebrating all year round!
Sunfest
If thereās one thing you can expect from Sunfest: itās that youāll get a little bit of everything. The two-day festival of world music and culture has brought international acts to Victoria Park for the last 30 summers, becoming arguably the cityās most iconic festival in the process.
Pride London Festival
Pride London Festival runs for a full ten days in July and wraps up with a weekend of outdoor programming. While the parade may be the festivalās hallmark event, thereās always much more going onāso keep an eye on their website for the full breadth of the celebration.
Downtown for the Holidays
The core is where itās at for the best of the winter holidays as the ice rinks at Victoria Park and Covent Garden Market fill up with skaters and merchants try to outdo each other with their window displays. Recently, weāve seen Dundas Place featuring a revolving āfestival of marketsā each weekend with themed vendors taking over the block while carollers mix about the crowds and make for a month of magic.
Kinsman Fanshawe Sugar Bush
Thereās no better place to be when the sap is running than the Kinsman Fanshawe Sugar Bush at Fanshawe Conservation Area. Not only do they offer a tasty pancake breakfast with all the syrup you could want, their horse-drawn tours of the sugar bush also include a history of maple syrup production through the ages.
